• Tell us a little bit about yourself

My career spans a significant period, I spent 19+ years in the world of Accounting and Finance and then moved into the Cemetery Industry for the next 30 years in operations and sales management. The Cemetery experience was mainly the management of multi locations in Maryland and Pennsylvania and included a funeral operation in the later years. My wife and I had three boys and we now have eight grandchildren.

  • How did you find Chronicle and what made you join the team?
I wanted to stay involved in the cemetery world after full-time work ended. I posted on LinkedIn my profile and consultancy aspirations. I was then in a conversation with Matt (CEO of Chronicle) and the relationship developed.

  • What’s your favorite activity to do outside work?
I enjoy golf and of course grandchildren’s activities.

  • What is your biggest fear?
    Absence of family connections.

  • Who is your hero and why?
I do not have a specific hero. I think of a hero as one whom I may respect. Respect for an individual is gained when I see the dedication to ideals of honor, integrity, and family values.

  • 3 words to describe you.
    Honorable, Respectful and Truthful

  • What advice would you give to your kids and the people you care about?
Show respect for people and understand the impact you have on others through words, thoughts, and deeds.

  • Please share a story about you that you would tell your great-grandchildren.
There could be many stories to tell my great-grandchildren, I believe that I would relate to them about how their parents and grandparents developed into the people they have become.
